Session rates

I currently have a waitlist for new clients. Please contact me if you want to be added to this list.

I offer free 15-30 minute consultations so that you and I can get to know one another a little bit before beginning therapy. This helps us determine if we’ll be a good fit in working together.

My standard session rates are:

  • 15 minute consultation prior to beginning therapy - Free!

  • 50 minute session - $150

  • Extended sessions (usually 80 minutes to 110 minutes) - Pro-rated based on standard rates

Appointments are held Monday-Wednesday, & Friday-Saturday

Payment

Payment is expected at the time of service and may be made with cash, credit/debit card, or check made payable to Jenna Smith. I accept all major credit cards. No late payments accepted.

Insurance

I do not accept payments through insurance at this time, including Medicaid or Medicare. Clients may choose to use their health savings account or flex spending account which do not require a diagnosis or limit services, as well as any other form of payment named above.

SUPER BILLS

Upon request, I can provide a “Super Bill” invoice that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Clients must pay session fees up front to me and I cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse this cost. I recommend that you speak with your insurance provider in advance if you would like them to reimburse you for therapy to see if your plan is eligible for this option.

Cancellation Policy

The regular session rate will be charged for failing to appear to scheduled appointments, and for failing to provide at least a 24 hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

•You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

•Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

•If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

•Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call the Colorado Division of Insurance at 303-894-7490 or 1-800-930-3745.
